Shed 530 Estate Winery

Several kilometres from the outskirts of Taradale sits Shed Five Thirty Estate. The winery site features a small Chardonnay vineyard and a historical woolshed which still stands today surrounded by park-like grounds. Today, Shed Five Thirty is one of the newest wine brands in the Hawke’s Bay region. Our Chief Winemaker, Kel Dixon, brings a wealth over 30 years of winemaking experience, and continues to work hard to create an enviable portfolio of outstanding NZ wines. We also have ‘guest’ Winemakers and our 2020 & 2021 reds were made by John Hancock, who remains a consultant today.
